Natalie is a product designer, maker, & lifelong learner
Currently a staff product designer at LegalZoom with 7 years of experience. Previously at Studio empowering creativity and Intuit improving QuickBooks Online for small business owners.
She’s a jack-of-all trades designer with strong craft across both interaction and visual design. Truly a hybrid designer, she can be dropped in any stage of the design process and make high quality impact.
She enjoys making order out of chaos and simplifying complexity. Whether it’s untangling how tax forms work or defining a new visual language, she’s a systems thinker at heart.
She thrives in teams that are always building, solving complex interaction problems, and pushing products forward. As a maker, she’s at her best when she’s consistently getting value into customers’ hands.
She has experience:
Building products from the ground up,
Improving existing features for customers,
And influencing design process.

At Intuit, Natalie was a lead designer on the QuickBooks Ecosystem Lifecycle team. They would receive a lot of requests from other teams to add new insights to the dashboard or new pages to the left navigation. It was often challenging to manage everyone’s competing interests and protect the experience for their customers.
To solve this problem, She helped redesign our collaboration and approval process, put together frameworks, and created Figma libraries to better help other designers.

At an offsite in early 2024, the whole LegalZoom design team collaborated to define what we want our process to be. Our design ops manager then took all our inputs to formalize the process and create a Figma Kit for the team. Natalie contributed to exploring how it could come to life visually, and though it was a small exploration, it was really fun.
What’s it like to work with her?
She’s a builder
She loves making and cares a lot about craft. Though she is skilled in all parts of the design process, she enjoys putting on headphones and cranking out elegant visual design.
She’s fast
She can hit the ground running regardless of where a project is at, dive deeply into a problem, and turn around designs quickly without sacrificing quality.
She’s a thinker
She might not be the loudest person in a meeting, but she’ll form her opinions carefully and influence others through making.
She’s collaborative
She creates atmospheres of trust and safety with her partners. She’s warm and also secretly silly. Just give her some time to warm up.
